Ronny trying to justify recruiting Eddy on big $$ to average about 3 kicks, 2 marks and 1 goal a game at CHF. Anyone got the stats on Eddy and Hourigan in the reserves this year?

Named last on the bench. Doubtful that he would line up in the 1's. Unless the Cows pull Hartigan, highly likely that he would be playing in the early game....

Just had a look through reserves stats on SANFL website.
Hourigan - 9 games, kicks avg 8.3, handballs avg 3.2, marks avg 3.3, goals avg 2.1, behinds avg 1.8
Eddy - 5 games, kicks avg 11.6, handballs avg 1.6, marks avg 6, goals avg 2.4, behinds avg 1
They have only played the one game together, last week. Do they play the same role? If so then why wouldn't Ronnie go for youth?

Darcy will be drafted next year that's a given. I can only presume Ron needs to work with players who will be there next season and therefore needs to see more from Brett Eddy as Darcy (sadly for us) will be playing in AFL next year.
