What a shellacking! It'd have to go close to Sturt's lowest score ever, if not our lowest vs Norwood.
I'd like to be gracious in defeat but would find it more gratifying to tell Fester to go **** himself.

That's better!

Great wet weather football by the Legs today
Umpires tried to keep Sturt in it
Aish played like the conditions were perfect, has to be a top 3 draft pick. All class.
Very happy to get the win, now to concentrate on West next week

Puts a smile on my face and yes it was your lowest ever score against us!
Only one word to say - "Georgy! Georgy! Georgy! Georgy!"

Poor performance by Sturt. Showed the difference in class between us and the top team.
Harms, Coad, Panozzo played well for us.

Norwood gave us an absolute lesson in wet weather football.
For whatever reason, we refuse to adjust to the conditions and that is regardless of whether the coach is Carman, Phillips, McGowan, Norman or Maloney.
Umpiring had zero bearing on the result despite what some have said.

1 goal at 3 quarter time for Sturt.
Big concerns.

Nice try Southee. Nothing like the concerns down Noarlunga way where the rumours around Ron's position at the club continue to circulate... Four years into a five year contract and you'll miss finals yet again...

That will be a concern as well.
South have North next week.
That will be a concern as well.

At least they might get a draw against the bye!

Not the result but definately the margin, terrible decision to gift you your second goal and one of many baffling decisions today. They were terrible, first half especially was diabolical

In particular the free to Dawe against Hombsch.

So you're saying that the umpiring was so bad that it cost Strut

the game?

are the Umpires actually accountable to anyone. It does not appear to be. I do know they were only marked on the wrong decisions they actually made, not on the obvious ones they missed, at one time, has it changed at all?

All jokes aside, I've seen them worse but I will reiterate that Norwood did give us a wet weather lesson and hopefully after 15 years we might actually learn how to play wet weather football.
