Rnd 13: Central v Norwood @ Playford Alive Oval (Sat 29/6)

Postby Big Phil » Mon Jun 24, 2013 5:32 pm

The Doggies dropped their first game for 6 weeks, against the Magpies at home (first time in 10 years) and didn't play anywhere near as well as the week before against North, not taking anythging away from Port.

Norwood, as expected, bounced back with a comfy win against the hapless Panthers and are slowly welcoming back some of their injured stars, looking quite ominous...

This game should be an intruiging one between two sides that have forged out a nice little rivalry over the last few years...

Norwood hooligans, feel free to make full use of Grand Centrals bar and bistro facilities while you are visiting our ground...whether it be a cold pint of beer, some of the local and foreign cheeses the club stocks or a glass or two of a Barossa red or white wine from the clubs cellar...

Here is our clubs bistro menu: http://www.cdfc.com.au/assets/menus/Bistro2.pdf

Hope you have a Grand time!

Not including trial games, are you, JK? ;)

If not, are you predicting Saturday's result? :)

Last time Doggies and Leggies played each other 3 times was 2011 but one game was played at Adelaide oval. As far as I can tell from my collection of budgets that go back to 2006, this is the first season since pre-2006 that CD and Norwood have played 2 games at Elizabeth.

Last time I was at Elizabeth Ova.l
I went to the bar at half time for a beer.
I chatted to a Centrals supporter, she was a real looker.
She invited me to her 40th birthday party the following week.
I said yes, and could I visit her the next day.
She says.
" No I cant see you tomorrow, I'm babysitting my grandchildren."
