That was North's most dominant performance in 2013, to keep Sturt to only 2 goals against a gale force wind was good, the 1st 10-15 minutes of the 2nd 1/4 was concerning, North still hadn't scored a goal, after that it was all one way traffic, North were unstoppable!!

Good win in what was before the first bounce a danger game.

Looking at the stats Kurtze and Graham had combined double hitouts but I thought James Craig with 19 disposals was very good and has had a definite break out year as our number 1 ruckman.

Sturt had a shocker but I was impressed by Tambling who ran his guts out all day and the Number 19 Tom Harms, he was very impressive, first time I have seen him play and I know for a fact that the coaching staff at North were very impressed by him. A fat cheque book and a tour of the "Glass Taj" could be in order? ;)

Pretty solid win by North today.

Here's the game stats I took today for my database for those interested in the more exotic stats.

No they have been up and about banging on how they were going to do this and that and true to form in a defining moment not a poster from the blues can be seen posting in the post match . I hope this clears this up for you as it probably could be said of certain dogs supporters not seen in round 2 when getting a flogging at home but remarkably were up and about when they well in front at prospect .

Not much to say really....

We put in our worst performance of the year. North played a great, hard running, high intensity game .

We had no idea how to play to the conditions. North used the breeze beautifully and then embarrassed us when they were kicking against it.

With the exception of Tambling, Harms, Greenslade, Kurtze, Kane and maybe Hinge, we had a lot of guys just going through the motions.

Very disappointing, but I think we have a very good crop of young players coming through who can form the basis of a successful team in the next couple of years...

Expected as north are a class act but thought maybe only a 40 point loss. Glad it wasn't on radio haha.

I guess I hoped for too much before this game. I should remember to be wary of the side coming off a hard loss when we've just come off a soft win.
It was just a few weeks ago I was lamenting our inability to put 4 quarters together. To suddenly be leaping at the conclusion that we could beat North to string 3 wins in a row together was a tad premature on my own part.
Congratulations Roosters on your win.
