Can't help but think the decision to kick against the breeze in the first quarter may have ended up costing us somewhat.

We just never really seemed to get going today, perhaps after the last couple wins we got a little ahead of ourselves and started to think we were a bit better than we really are.

To think I was starting to consider booking some time off work at the start of October, just incase. Think that's a long way off yet based on todays performance

Wasn't really against the breeze, exactly...

For 90% of the day, the wind blew from behind the scoreboard, straight into our faces up in the grandstand. It slight favoured the southern end, perhaps.

I don't think that decision cost the Dogs the game. The Magpies were good and did what they had to do to win, but Central also wasted their opportunities on too many occasions...

And once again, the skill level of senior players was disappointing. In fact, there were heaps of basic skill errors from both clubs today. Port managed to make the most of their opportunities...

Both sides were terrible!

It was an awful game of football to watch. The skill level especially from Centrals was ordinary. I have never seen so many guys fumble the ball. We looked slow, disinterested and our decision making was deplorable. Prior should never have been left on Thurgood. He gave him a bath.

It was our worst game of football for the year.

Agreed, were hopeless. The pressure from last week was gone. Decision making kicking across the ground was hopeless. What's with three players interchanging at once when we're going into attack! Amateurish.

Makes the spray Laird gave them after the game last weekend interesting. Is it a case of he saw this type of performance coming or did the spray after a win last week backfire?
