Rnd 10: Glenelg v North @ Gliderol Stadium (PH Mon 10/6)

The Bays are in a bit of trouble at the moment, after dropping an important game at home to South, while after their remarkable comeback, the Roosters will be cock-a-hoop heading into this Queen's Birthday Monday clash.
There is traditionally a bit of feeling between these 2 sides, so will be interesting to see what sparks fly on the day...

This will be closer than most people would predict. We tend to struggle a bit with the smaller grounds and the Bays seem to lift against us but hopefully after being taught a leasson vs. Port re complacency, Glenelgs poor form and also our good fightback last Sunday then you would expect North to win comfortably. Expect being the operative word!

Isn't the premiership reunion dinner on Saturday a couple of days before the game though?
Smart by the Bays after we put a downer on their 86 reunion by winning a close one as underdogs hours before that dinner.

Why can't they celebrate an anniversary for their 1934 flag? Maybe next year when they play Port they can celebrate the 80th anniversary of that win? However there are two problems with that idea that I can see: (1) Lack of past players still alive from that year is a big one and (2) Port Magpies most likely won't be around!

The Premiership Reunion and Hall of Fame Dinner is on the Sunday Night, but yes, still before the game - thankfully.

Cheers Max, should be a good night. My ex mother in law who is a life member is even going despite being wheel chair bound since she had a stroke. I went to the 86 reunion and that was a good night too.

As Maxy pointed out, the reunion dinner is the night before, but on the Bays Facebook page, they were promoting this as the 'Anniversary Game' with former players being there and lots of other activities on the day...
