Must say, I'm surprised @ this result.

What it does suggest though, is that there is North, West, Norwood... then the rest.

Another test next week for Eagles though, not a good record @ 'lizabuf.

how does it suggest that? Wouldn't you include the Eagles amongst those 3 at the moment?

Nah, we aren't as good as North or West @ the minute.
We beat Norwood but I'm not convinced we are traveling THAT well.

I did see some of the game on TV today & yes, the ball movement I saw was very good.
But, I am not sure there was much opposition to be honest - South in disguise?

The Eags have been hovering between the top 3 and the next couple, Glenelg and Central. With today's win they could perhaps be considered up with North, West and Norwood.

Boy, would I rather play Glenelg in a final than Centrals! I do see Central making the five ahead Glenelg though. On today's form Glenelg have some work to do if they're to figure in September...

The Eagles were way way better than us today, but to be honest you must admit you didn't have a lot of opposition today

The damage was done in the first quarter today - probably the wrong match for the T.V., although I admit I tipped the Tigers. Glenelg's inaccuracy probably makes them look a bit worse than they were; today they played better than the last time the Eags beat them. Having said that it's hard to think of any Glenelg players who played well today. Lawton was actually not too bad I thought. I think the margin, notwithstanding Glenelg's performance, just underscores how big the gulf between our best and our worst is, in light of the last three quarters of last week's match. 5-2 is better than 4-3, but the boys will have to prepare for a real test up Norf next week...

I think it's the Massiah. His gospel doesn't appear to be working for his disciples. I think they need a new leader.

Do Bays supporters think Massie will be reappointed if the Bays don't make the five? (Does his contract run out at the end of the year?)

I think he has another year. Can't see them sacking another coach before his contract is up, particularly now that the Emporer is no longer there. He has proven that he can't coach though.
