Both sides are coming off losses in Round 6, South with an embarrassing near 20-goal defeat from the Eagles. The Redlegs went down to the Roosters so will be keen to again expose South's lack of home ground prowess...

The weather forecast predicts an overnight low temp. of 9C for Saturday night.
Despite the defensive efforts of Vicks and Nyal I'm expecting a 1000+ win to influenza.
R. Choo will dominate.

Really? What is that based on South starting 2 hours earlier than Norwood?

Can't see a South win but what i and other Southies want to see is a team based 4 quarter effort, go down swinging not with a whimper as per our last outing. Having said that a win would be nice.

Agreed.

You're a chance against Norwood this week, by my reckoning we've played about thirty decent minutes of footy in the last five games.

Time for our wunderkid coach to prove his mettle.

Didn't he do that on the first weekend of October, last year?

I think you most would agree that Norwood are playing far from their best footy at the moment. South will need to respond after their dismal showing versus the eagles. It will be a low scoring slog hopefully, and South are well and truly overdue for a win at home.Where are the odds?

Who could possibly tip the Panthers here....

South have let us all down in 2013.

Something we don't know about is happening down south.... maybe :Hangman:

Interesting about Sam Baulderstone:

THIS time last year Sam Baulderstone was playing for Mount Compass and tipped the scales at 140kg.

The 22-year-old ruckman ate takeaway a few nights a week, soft drinks were a key part of his diet and he was usually tired by half-time.

“I was eating whenever I wanted, whenever,’’ Baulderstone says.

“I didn’t really care.’’

Things changed in August when the 200cm giant received an unexpected phone call from Essendon’s recruiting officer Merv Keane.

Having impressed the club during the state country championships in NSW and a Great Southern Football League match, Baulderstone went to Melbourne for a series of tests.

Then he turned around his footy career and lifestyle.

Essendon overlooked him at the AFL drafts but Baulderstone signed with Norwood one of four SANFL clubs that contacted him at the end of the season.

He has lost a whopping 28kg since August and has played three league games for the Redlegs.

Good luck to little Orazia Fantasia, in his League debut, for the Redlegs...

I've seen him and called him a bit in the Under 18's last year and the lad is exciting...

Not much to him, he'll get thrown around like a rag doll, but he'll get back up and keep going...

Look forward to seeing him play on Saturday night...

Only if you trace the two family trees back to Adam and Eve. ;)
