What a great relationship Holden and Central have had over the last quarter of a century. Well done to the Dogs for recognising this...

I see this as a 50/50 game.
My heart wishes the dogs, but the blues could run away with this.
A very close encounter, I feel.
Sturt by 2 points.

Another absolute must win game for the dogs (sadly thats what happens when you start 0-4)
Personally i think there will be a fair few changes.
Obst is a definate out and i think Waldhutter more than likely will miss.
Big chance we will get Henderson back as well.
Others around the mark Potter(on what i have seen he is far to good for ressies), Dunne and Barmby.
Dogs by 23 points

Holden's only 63 years behind Ford with the Cats but yes a wonderful relationship that's been had out Elizabeth away, congratulations to both parties.

Good to see you showing similar restraint in plugging these items as you did to the Twins book Phil.
Got home last night and there was an ad for this in my junk mail pile!

Hah. I remember in the early '80s when the Bays were sponsored by Associated Midland, I didn't realise that the gold-coloured animal thingo on the guernsey was the sponsor's logo. It wasn't until the logo changed that I realised it was never part of the guernsey.

Ha ha, good one Boon Man
I'm only pushing it on social media, at the request of the club
I'm getting nothing out of it, but maybe I should ask for a free jumper

As I said before, Centrals should be in the middle three this year, along with Glenelg and possibly the Eagles. Port, Sturt and South are games they'd expect to win. I think ol' Seamus will have his work cut out getting the Blues up for this encounter.
Sturt not completely without hope, but realistically Centrals should run out winners by between 30-40 points on their home ground. I expect Sturt will lead at times during the game, perhaps even as late as midway through the 3rd term. Laird will make some moves in the second half and Sturt won't understand how to respond. Dogs will kick about eight of the last ten goals to make it look easy. People will make comments like "If Central played like they did in the final quarter every week, they'd be a premiership threat."
Something like that anyway.

Thats half our problem this year.
Our best footy at times has been as good as any side in the comp, unfortunatly our worse football is probably the worse football in the comp.
We have tended to conceed goals in clumps of 4-5 in a row, so if Sturt can get on a roll they may have the Dogs playing catch up all day.
