Thought we should have won by more, felt like we were always in control. For me Mangan was again outstanding as was Taite Silverlock who took an early contender for mark of the year. Liked Webb, Nelson and Tucks games too.

For the Bays I thought their first gamer was good and he out bodied some of our players. Glenelg seemed quite small compared to us.

Not 20 goals but again over 100 points ;)

Silverlock showed his class tonight and is playing career best football. Great goals, a couple of contenders for mark of the year and a great run on the outer wing to set up Beech for a goal on halftime.

Again, why can't we play like that every week!

Good to see some young Westies fans there tonight. The club walking around giving out balloons and little footys to the kids, it's the first time I have seen them do that.

West kicked 5 goals in about 7 minutes in the 1st qtr blowing the game open before we jagged 2 late ones. 2nd qtr was by far the Bays best and for all our dominance were still 4 goals down at the main break. 3rd qtr we started well then once again west turned it on and kicked 5 goals in about 7-8 mins. Game over.
Glenelg's skills and decision making (even not under pressure) was woeful. West always had players at the fall of the ball, ran in no's and read the play much better.
Crowd looked small and atmosphere (as usual at Richmond) was nil.
We desperately miss Kirkby and our skipper doesn't look fit.

Oh, and westies alternate strip looks excellent.
If only the powers that be at Brighton Rd followed suit and copied their guernsey implementing the gold with black sash and numbers.

Glenelg outplayed by West in pretty much every aspect of the game. In particular West ran harder and had far cleaner skills.

West was a rabble as little as 2 years ago. Now I dare say their premiership window is well and truly open.

I think a rabble may even be an understatement 2-3 years ago - It was so hard turning up watching what we were served up Pseudo. When you think about where the club was, Collins has done an incredible job to turn the playing culture around and we now have more juniors or zoned players in our side than I can ever remember playing league since I've been watching from the early 1980's.

I'll see your West Adelaide of 2-3 years ago and raise you a Brenton Honor era Glenelg. 8)

Lucky Collins wasn't' given the arse like 90% of people were requesting to happen last year and the year before. Good on you West for sticking by your coach. Particularly now that the centrals reign is over and that the level of comp as a whole has dropped off significantly, west have a great chance. Very uneven comp and very boring compared to a few years ago.

Your argument with SDK is not one Im buying into, but whilst the styles of the two teams have similarities, they're not the same.

As opposed to the exciting comp over the last decade where we had 1 team that had total dominance over the rest?
Yeah right.
Maybe just stick with your little crowies luketorrens.

Norwood play the same game as West ?
You mean the same game that publicly flogged West in two finals including a Grand Final ?
The same game that had West with 1 goal in the third quarter of the GF ?
The same game that saw West beaten in 10 minutes of football on Anzac day ?
Norwood START in a defensive position but FINISH in an attacking position by actually attacking and focus on scoring !
West are defensive all the time concentrating on keeping their opponent bottled up with little focus on scoring.

What puzzles me is West play an attacking style against all sides EXCEPT Norwood. Why persist with something that does not work ? Why not take a team on and back your own ability. The only way to beat Centrals in their day was to take them on !!!!

Been playing crap footy but still winning (some say that is a good sign - winning ugly).

Looking forward to seeing the Boys put it together in a four quarter effort on Fri night.

Out by 10 goals, who knew.

Four quarter effort, Pfft.

Yes I know the obvious comment re crap footy, too!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Bays fans, interested on your thoughts on Ty Allen. As an opposition fan, he has always been one of those guys who you thought "geeze I wish he was on our team".

Last night, 2 kicks and a few handballs. Is he injured? He's only 28 so should still have a good year or 2 ahead of him.

They didn't attack against North either.
