Must be the quietest year for recruiting for a long time, well seems that way.
Thought my Club would pick up at least 1 midfielder to replace the 2 we lost.

Not sure if you need them. Got great depth.

Couple of clubs have been very busy.

Kris Grant mentioned at the Dogs AGM last month that recruiting for the SANFL is the toughest it has ever been in his time in the SANFL. Said that it is getting harder and harder to recruit interstate players.

If Bunton is onto something re. Norwood, you can forget any recruits with a strong squad already and a serious audit on the way again in 2013!
There's a new Sheriff in town gentlemen

I believe the Audit is done and dusted and the sheriff found that we scraped in by a bees dick and there was nothing illegal

Maybe it's an excuse for poor recruiting at the dogs?

We wont know until we see the new guys actually play in the season proper.

True but my point is there appears to be no stand out recruits that come to mind this year. Batsanis and Catchia were exciting recruits for us before they even kicked a ball at the Parade.
Not too sure about the other clubs but at Norwood nothing much in the way of recruits this year apart from some returning.

Port's best recruit is Hayes, West have lost their heart, as too have North. We have lost Sansbury & The Twins but they were almost gone anyway, Sturt, South, Glenelg don't appear to have progressed, The Eagles have lost a lot of good players too, Norwood have lost quality as well, hard to say what will happen. I think that, at this early stage, top 5 will be Norwood, Central, Eagles, dunno, dunno! bottom 4 might be easier. Sturt, West, South. So, 4th, 5th & 6th is between Port, Glenelg & North.

Don't recall either of them being star recruits last year. Maybe at Norwood.

Not sure I would use the word star but they both figured high in media awards and mm votes. Definately top contributors in the Norewood side and hard to replace them.
Think you are pretty close to the mark Centurion I find it hard to disagree with many of your predictions. Agree West will slide down to the bottom again and predict Collins will not last the year out.

Port ahead of North???

Watch out for Archer - he is a big unit and a very good replacement for Alleway.

I think the Eagles and Centrals will drop. Early days yet though.
