Not good news heading into pre season with no coach and plans to bring in players. The Senior coach should be making those calls

West only appointed Collins last week & Port will make an announcement as early as next week that sounds like to me they have their act together Dutchy.
You have to make sure you have all avenues covered & Brian Leys obviously feels by then they'll have all interviews complete & a coach appointed.

West did play 5 weeks longer than the Magpies...how can they recruit anyone of quality if a coach isnt in place by now?

And West were trying to retain the current coach. Amateur at best. Not that anyone's surprised.

Port Magpies Coach update

As if Brian Leys even has any say in the decision. Keith Thomas will say who is coaching and Brian will have to agree

A long as Keith Thomas was suitably informed about the candidates, as club CEO I'd have no issue with that.

Is Beinke still at the Magpies? I'm surprised he hasn't been mentioned for this job as he was highly regarded (by those who could forgive him his previous club) whilst he was at Norwood.

If you are suggesting the coach will be an ex Power player, I think you will be wrong.

Can we assume options 2 and 3 aren't viable options (not necessarily related to coaching ability), thereby meaning its all more likely to be Beinke.

Unless its McLeod which would probably be unlikely as well.
