The Panther Club, a fundraising club at the SAFC, are holding the Southern Community Christmas Carols event at Hickinbotham Oval again this year, on Sunday December 16th. Gates open at 6:00pm, carols start at 7:30pm, with entry by gold coin donation and part proceeds going to the Fleurieu Cancer Network.

The headline act this year is Julia Henning, a local artist from Willunga who has reached number 1 on Triple J's Unearthed and overall indie charts, supported by a stack of great local entertainers and the night will be MC'ed by Coast FM's Chris Carpenter. As with last year's event, the evening will conclude with a great fireworks display (last year's was awesome).

Food and drinks are available at the venue so bring a rug or chair and bring your family down for a great night of caroling and community spirit.

Full details are available on the flyer.

Too add even more fireworks why don't they ask Ronnie Fuller why South keep losing their best players every year.
Obviously get him all turped up for maximum effect, also quietly mention his Grand Final records

Don't knock it, in essence they bumped the thread higher up the page so more people noticed it. :D

Linking the event with a performer who's music plays on JJJ would probably put off a few people in the elderly age bracket.

Some people really struggle with the OBVIOUS, maybe that's why you love Ronnie so much ;)

Just hoping everyone can make the effort to get along and enjoy what promises to be loads of fun.
I can confirm Ron will be singing some of his greatest hits of the past including....
"My Way", "Dirty Deeds Done Real Cheap", "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again(Craig Parry/Ainger Remix)", "Tainted Love", "The (Noarlunga) Hills Are Alive With The Sound of ME Yelling", "Where The Streets Have No Name(Noarlunga Gardens!??)", "The Greatest Love Of All", "It's A Long Way To The Top If Your South" and last but not least that Club Classic "All Zoned Out And Loving It"!

Go Ronny :D

Wow. Ron really must have broken your heart Holden78. Might be time to stop sobbing yourself to sleep at night, sign up to RSVP.com.au and move the feck on. On behalf of everyone - yawn.
