Tony Bamford won't be coaching Port Adelaide next year, but will be continuing in his talent manager role that he has had since 2005.

No surprise really. Part of the PAFC plan to turn the Magpies into Power Reserves.

Brad Gotch was named in the Herald-Sun on Monday as the new coach

that's old news - was announced sep 10 as per media release - they just held off for a month making it public!

Will Brian Leys be next to go when they find he has not actually signed all the players "he has signed"?

Played VFL for Fitzroy and St Kilda. Also played a part season with Port Adelaide in 1985.


Coached at VFL level when a development coach for Collingwood, Western Bulldogs and Melbourne.

Another ex Port PLayer to coach the magpies

B. J Gotch 1985 PAFC 11 games 25 goals
He also played for Dandenong, Fitzroy and Saint Kilda
