Thought there would have been some comment by now but on TV last night Channel 2 ( I think ) commentator advised regarding the brewey clour unvieling :

Norwood have relaced the red white and blue that has been on the chimney for many years. Norwood supporter were overjoyed to see the red and blue replace the Centrals colours....... words to that effect.

Errrr excuse me but last years colours were blue gold and green !!!! Sure Eagles supporters would have been happy with that

Must have been force of habit SDK. News reporters too used to seeing the doggies colours up there for most of the the last 10 years!!

To be fair Central colours have been on the Chimney EVERY year since 2000 either as premiers or runners up.

Who wouldve thought Centrals would have been born, endured winless seasons and 40 goal losses and won 9 flags all since Souths last flag.

Strangly enough, there was no mini-chimney with Woodville's colours and date. At least DOC can find comfort that SA's colours have insulted the chimney more often than Woodville

Central was competing at league level in the year that South won its last flag. So not born, but certainly still in nappies...

South's last had their colours on the chimney in 1979 granted it was the bottom one.

Looks orange on my camera screen JK. It is different to the Glg yellow. Can't remember what it looked like on the day. Didn't take much notice.

Phew, thanks mate, for a minute there I was questioning whether the colours adorning the top of the chimney were really red and Blue

Not quite Balmain Gold
