Player MOVEMENTS and DISCUSSION for 2013

Now that the 2012 season is officially over, I'll start this thread up, like last year...
This thread is for any rumours of player movements and discussions about that..
NORWOOD:
Still basking in the glory of the flag, but could be a couple of players head home to Victoria? Might be a few that get drafted as well.
WEST:
Talk of Fort and Nat Caruso going home to Victoria and perhaps skipper Ryan Ferguson finishing up as well?
NORTH:
No doubt the club will be sweating on the decision of James Bennett and whether he'll head home to Canberra or not? I'd throw the captaincy at him, he is a great player. Obviously big holes to fill with Allan and Alleway hanging up the boots.
CENTRAL:
Defender Yves Sibenaler has advised the club he is playing on again in season 2013. Whispers about a lot of fringe players going to other clubs or leaving. Perhaps O'Sullivan to another club for more opportunities at League level? There have also been talk of his retirement, but Eddie Sansbury has been seen training in the Dogs gym already.
EAGLES:
Hearing and reading Daniel Kirk is off to the Eagles.
GLENELG:
Hearing and reading Daniel Kirk is off to the Eagles.
PORT:
Some rumours doing the rounds about senior Magpies players leaving, Mark Dolling to the Eagles has been mentioned. Maybe a few will make their minds up once a decision has been made on coah Tony Bamford's future?
SOUTH:
Rumours floating around that Andrew Ainger may not be at South next year. Find it hard to believe but who knows?
Also read on Jai Bednall's MMCM column that Joel Cross has indicated he is wanting to stay in Adelaide. One would assume he'll stay with South.
STURT:
I think Tristian Gum is living in Perth, still, so may not be back in 2013?
Saw a current listed Sturt player Craig Evans wearing a Norwood jumper at the Grand Final yesterday and have seen him at a few Legs games this year. Is good mates with former team mate Jace Bode and was touted as a possible switch of Eastern suburbs clubs last year as well.

Not sure if this was the camera angle, reading too much into it, or have misidentified players, but watching the ABC highlights on the internet, it looked like Gags, Bode and Phillips were all in the centre of the circle singing the song.

He didn't quite say it last night but I got the impression that Ryan Ferguson will be going home after his speech to the supporters

Considering he said 'what i will miss about Westies is the supporters' suggests he is going home to spend more time with his wife and new born

Would think Norwood would only lose 2-3 players. Probably Gags to retire again and maybe a couple drafted.
Talk of Suckling heading back to Victoria but fingers crossed he will stay.
Hopefully Cleve Hughes and Ed Lower head back to the Parade and I still think a couple of other recruits are on the radar

I would be very surprised if James Bennett stayed at North. What I have heard is that he is a fair way through his law degree at ANU and if he doesn't resume next year he will be precluded from the course. If I were North I would try to fly him back each week, such is his value to the team. He loves North and Francou but his career has to come first.

Would Luke Jericho, Michael Newton, Ben Warren and Andrew Ainger ALL fit in the same Redlegs forward line?

Norwood are certainties to lose 4 to 5 in the draft...... as usual.
If we lose very young players we can cover those with similar aged kids. It is the mature age players that are very difficult to replace.
The way Suckers spoke last night would be surprised if he left.

Shouldn't be a problem as there were 36 players in its forward line yesterday ...

Reckon there's a chance some of Gavin Roberts, Cameron Shenton, Ben Speight, Matty Panos could be delisted and possibilities to return to Norwood.

Norwood draft possiblilites :
Kirwin : a certanty
Smart
Chippendale
Batanis
Catchia
Plus the usual younger kids we don't know a lot about and some I would prefer not to name.

I think Batsy's lack of pace would worry some clubs. No doubt has the skill
