Well done to Jeff Brown and the young dogs (plus a couple of wise heads) outfit in a remarkable last half for the season. Most of those guys will play league games next year.

David Haydon won the Bob Lee Medal for Best on Ground...

Awesome effort but not suprising with the players they had. I remember the Central fans at the last minor round game's president's lunch all keen to get the score as they weren't even assured of making the finals at that stage, I assured them however our reserves hadn't won since Moses was around and they were home. ;)

It was a strange, strange feeling being there today and leaving after the seconds. Glad I went down there, though.
The boys showed some guts to hold on when Norwood were threatening.
Pumpa was a star for us today, Lawton did some good stuff and Haydon's medal win was well deserved.
The first two goals of the final term were critical for us, while that last point kicked was very enjoyable.

Will Westhoff be back next season?

The northern bar was also underwhelmingly empty when I left.

One of my friends works at aami and they cut down bar staff by 30% compared to last years gf. Apparently more alcohol is sold at a central gf than any crows game throughout the year

I also noticed MAC giving away mini footys. Must have felt safe with us not being there (2000).

That's because they knew all the Redlegs supporters were turning up with their chauffeurs, who'd stay with the car while they went inside to quaff chandon.

A fantastic performance from the dogs to come from 5th spot just making the finals to winning the Premiership. Great stuff and well done to Jeff Brown and the lads. It was a really good game to watch both teams wanting to play attacking footy, just so glad we withstood their pressure to get the win.

Well done Doggies. A great win. Thought we might get run over in the last quarter but the guys gritted their teeth and withstood Norwood's charge.

Good to see quite a few supporters there too.

Bring on 2013!

Well done Dogs.
Was an entertaining game, and felt like the old days of GF's with reasonable crowd there early.
Norwood a bit stiff to run into such a strong reserves side, just the way it worked out with Centrails injuries
