Coaches on the move?

Usually we see the majority of coaching changes happen down near the bottom of the table, however this year could be different.

Norwood - Bassett a near certainty to AFL system (Hawthorn I think it was rumoured?)
Centrals - Laird seems to be waivering/leaving/staying depending on who you listen to.
West - Collins not signed for next year? (I think - or did he sign up for two? should know this one) and had made noises in past about going back to Melbourne. Maybe 1 more year?
North - Francou signed again recently and has made that look like a shrewd judgement in the last 2 weeks
Eagles - Godden safe but some major recruiting needed and a pre-season that actually has the team ready to start the season
Glenelg - Massie safe, although when they made the appointment they were very bullish about challenging for flag this year and then missed finals
South - Fuller safe although a poor year compared to their spruiking at the end of last year. If Ainger, Cross & Carey leave because of their relationship wit the coach that may put some heat on Fuller after losing Parry & Cockshell previously.
Port - Bamford on again amidst rumours of a player "cleanout" at Alberton
Sturt - Maloney finished bottom again in 1st year of 2 year deal? Not sure they improved at all this year given that Kerridge & Jenkins were crows gifts via the mini draft and had more of other Crows than in 2011. Not sure of their internal expectations though?

In summary, more chance of top 3 minor round clubs changing coach before any others. I realise I'm a bit short on when contracts expire, so please add if you can.

Neither Cross, Ainger or Carey have issues with Fuller with negotiations well underway to have all 3 re-sign as all other required players already have. If they leave it's all about returning home not because of coach, Fuller has 2 years remaining of his contract and this will be honoured, end of story.

Because South have so much credibility when it comes to coaches sticking around?

This time next year it will be very interesting, if Laird signs another 1 year deal that will mean him, Massie, Godden & Maloney all coming out of contract.

I must say I dont understand 2 year contracts, its either 1 year (provide a premiership) or 3 years (give time to develop towards a premiership). 2 years is a nothing term.

He's already told the club he's going and unless he's done a 180 from a month ago (when I spoke to a very good source at the club) then he's definitely gone.

Norwood, North, Sturt, South and Port all sacked their previous coach, so the Bays aren't Robinson Crusoe ...

Why would Glenelg ever give a coach a 2 year deal? It just ends up costing them money when they sack them mid year.

Was going on the proviso he got an AFL gig. With most spots already being filled im hearing he may stay another year until something opens up

Ditto for South, Clay Sampson not sacked, just not reappointed.
Sacked is when the coach still under contract, no comparison to when a contract period has expired and coach is simply not reaapointed.

Negotiations may well be underway.
The club may well be applying pressure on them to sign before B & F on Friday.
However, they are talking to other SANFL clubs - couldn't understand why they would do that if it was about returning home?
If there is no announcement at B&F on Friday then things may heat up.
