Happy Days - Chandler Gone

Postby topsywaldron » Tue Sep 11, 2012 9:56 am

In a tiny, tiny piece in today's business section it was announced Darren Chandler had joined the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority. I'm just assuming, and hoping with all my heart, this means he's resigned as the SANFL's supremo.

It's hard to do justice to just how royally Chandler screwed up his job, the nadir came when he refused to draw any link between a nearly 17% rise in admission prices with the decline in attendances. The less said about this year's draw the better.

He turned out to be the arrogant, do nothing, know nothing turkey we always suspected him of being.

Good riddance DC.

Nearly killed a perfectly good competition by his own stupidity. Glad the muppet is gone.

Maybe that was his plan, run it into the ground and then let the AFL ride into town, bail us out and then take us under their wing.

Read elsewhere that it was mentioned on MMM tonight that Eagles CEO Chris Davies will be Chandler's replacement.
