South Champion and Magarey Medalist Mark Naley is recovering in hospital after suffering a heart attack last wednesday.

Mark has had a stent (or more than one) inserted, and is recovering in the Flinders Medical Centre.

All at Pantherland wish Mark a speedy and full recovery.

I suspect that most of SANFLland would also wish Mark a speedy/full recovery.

Get well nails.

Had my heart attack at 49.

Scared me enough to give up smoking, cold turkey.

You seem to weigh up your life after this.

Everyone dies..... ;) :D

You must enjoy your life, whats left... :D

You already know this by listening to the cardiac monitor...

& the blood oxygen monitor,,, ;)

No stents for me,

a tripple bypass... :D

I endorse all above. Get well Mark and continue to go onwards and upwards. I loved watching him play for SA but not so much for Carlton when I barracking for Essendon! I can remember being at an Essendon/Carlton game years ago when an Essendon supporter near me gave him a spray and called him weak as p1ss or something equally as elegant. I spun around and told this bogan that Naley was a champion and to get off his case. Didn't go down to well as I recall.

Abit like Chris Grant and Robert Harvey in the VFL you always felt his loyalty cost him a real shot at winning the premiership he deserved.

Great player, sounds like a great bloke.
