Central vs South Post Game

Postby whufc » Sat Aug 18, 2012 5:47 pm

Centrals 23.2.140
South 14.7. 91

Dogs by 49 points

Wasnt there today but is great to get Barmby and Menzel back in. Was also good to see Wilson get a run he will be important heading into the finals. We need to play the two specialist tap ruckmen

Hardy takes a further lead in the ken farmer.

Good to see Orval and Dunne kick a few goals each as well in the reserves.

Seeya Westoff & Waldhutter.

With his 7 goals today, Justin Hardy may have secured himself the Ken Farmer Medal...

Now has about a 5 or 6 goal lead, I think?

that's 23 goals (when the ball passes between the 2 long goalposts, untouched) and 2 behinds (when the ball passes between a long post and a short post, or a ball is rushed through, or touched off the boot, between the 2 long posts).

Westhoff may still be given an opportunity as that second tall, Wally may be forced out due to the depth coming back...

Dylan Orval may have kicked 4 but he wasn't all that convincing and still looks proppy with his troublesome knee. Would not expect him to be given a League game, at this stage...

With the form of O'Sullivan, Nason and Nash in the reserves, I'd expect one or all of them to come in for the Sturt game next week...

32.5 against North six or seven years ago would come close to this.

To be 7 points down at the 14 minute mark of the last quarter and lose by 49 points is a major disapointment and concern for the SAFC ....

Once again a home game loss ....

Nothing else to say but that was pee weak in that last quarter and the home win loss ratio is just laughable now !!

Think I've had enough this year .... God it's hard being a south supporter :(
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

pretty entertaining game to watch although the umps tried their best to destroy it. probably the worst umpiring ive seen for a few years. anyway , a good win and hopefully a bit of confidence restored.

Dogs First scoring shot was a point aswell.

23.2 can that happen everyweek .

With james evil collier back next week and obst Hayes Lawton due to resume in reserves.

Nason chad and Nash pushing for league selection.

Nice selection dramas for the dogs next week. Finally !!!

We played well in patches.

South Adelaide have great clubrooms. That's the first time I've been in them. Really nice. I enjoy going to Noarlunga even if it is freezing!

So our disgraceful record v the Dogs, and at Noarlunga continues. The last 10-15 minutes were similar to the fade out last friday night.

23.2 is quite remarkable.

Does it matter how the ball passes through the 2 long goalposts, untouched?

What if its handballed?

Yep especially considering he really is the ONLY forward we have. Unlike Jericho & Warren, McIntyre & Dudig, Hardy is playing a lone hand up forward.
