If not for the West v Norwood clash, this would probably have to be match of the round with the Eagles getting their season back on track, dominating the Roosters while Port got themselves a game closer to the five with a comfortable win over the Bays.

Cracking game this one.
We owe the Eagles some hurt ( after the last round of 2011 ) and snuffing out their finals hopes for 2012 this weekend would be great. Plus my best mate follows them and I could unload on him* if we manage to do so.
Ports forward half is starting to look dangerous and our defence has two options at least who are in form to cover the dangerous Grocke who always troubles us.
The winner stays alive, the loser starts booking holidays in September.

Parry has helped Port's cause by his report. Not that they need a huge advantage in ruck as they have been prety dominant in the ruck all year with Meiklejohn.

Surely Rae will not start in the ruck. Culley will play down back, Grieger in the ruck and Rae upforward i would have thought?
Where is Bock at? They are using part time ruckmen ahead of him?

Very surprised Redden has been dropped. Why not give him an extended run with the Power? Anyway, huge in for the Eagles if he does play.
McCarthy is an unknown. He wouldn't know most players names I wouldn't have thought? Probably a straight swap for Knights' position if he does play?
I would be much more confident of tipping the Eagles with Redden in.

Going into this game very confident. Geeezzz we got a lucky break with Redden coming in. Not sure what the Power are doing there. A win here and the right results elsewhere and the Eagles could be in the top 5 for the first time this season.
