Port too good over the whole game, although the Bays made a game of it in the 2nd after been blown away in the first.

Bays don't deserve to play in the finals but may still do so ... the standard of the competition has dropped to a very low level unfortunately.

At the rate the Bays are going they're in danger of losing a spot in the finals. The form ladder (let's be just pick an arbitrary number of weeks for interest's sakes - last two months) from Round's 12-20:

Norwood 8-0
Centrals 5-3
West 4-2
North 3-3
Eagles 3-3
Port 3-4
South 2-4
Sturt 2-6
Glenelg 1-6 (only win by 3 points v South)

When West Adelaide wins more often than not it is also a good indicator of the competition's standard having dropped significantly.

Thought we had it in the bag at 1/4 time. :D 8)
Sloppy 5 mins at the start of the 3rd qtr cost us kick 4-0 instead of 0-4 and the result would have different. Still confident of playing finals. Go you Bays!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

So how bad are Glenelg then having lost 6 out of their last 7. Worry more about your own team than Westies ;)

Well done to Port. IMO they are the team who will play finals

Was listening to some of the RPH call today - sounded like Roury Kirkby almost took Mark of the Year?

For those there, how good would have it been had he held onto it?

Looked like he jumped too early, got up on shoulders and hung for a while, almost horizontally, got 2 hands on it but couldn't hold onto it on the way down.

Then ended up on the ground as usual ...
