Just got home and reading the local paper - Eastern Courier - and there is an article stating Garry McIntosh will be inducted into the SA Football Hall Of Fame this evening, down at AAMI.

Congratulations to the Norwood legend and all other inductees throughout the night...

Channel 7 will be doing regular crosses this evening to make mention of the Inductees...

HoF always a good news story or two.

I have a problem with these Crows players getting in before the players who did the hard yards before the AFL. The Crows and the Power play in the AFL not the SANFL so players who played a major part or all of their career in the AFL should not be in the SANFL Hall of Fame it should be reserved for for SANFL players and their service to the SANFL only.
Do you see people from Country Leagues or SAAFL in there, No but some of them have given 50 years or more service to their club. We have one such person at our club. Played over 100 games from 1960 - 68 and has been a trainer since 1969 with the juniors and the seniors and is there every Mon, Tues, Thurs Night as well as Saturday & Sunday. first to arrived last to leave. they are the one who should be the HoF for outstanding service and contribution to South Australian Football.

It's the South Australian Football Hall of Fame. Not the SANFL Hall of Fame

As I said before why are all these AFL players getting in instead of players who have done much to define SA Footy but get overlooked.

Hart and Tredrea were both champion players who spent all their playing days representing South Australian teams/clubs, don't really see an issue and reckon both are excellent inclusions.

It's the south Australian football hall of fame. Get over it guys AFL is the highest level and south Australian AFL players will always be inducted now.
