That would be a huge jump from 2nd bottom last year, people will think we are cheating

North maybe understrength again this week and that may hurt our chances. Alleway will miss and it is likely Blee will go to the Power baed on his recent good form. Kriston Thompson will be an in but a replacement for Alleway could prove difficult unless we get D. Stewart back from the Power.

It will be the Annual EAGLES KIDS DAY Game

All kids Eagles & North are invited to take part in the pre-game parade. This involves a colourful parade around the oval, lining up as a guard on honour for your respective clubs and then there is a Vili's donut giveaway at the end. (to take part meet behind Southern Goals by 1.40pm)

All kids can go into a lucky dip with a large range of prizes being given away from caps, scarves, tshirts. footies, pizza vouchers and other items.

There is free face painting and a jumping castle thanks to Greater Union and they will be doing other promotions as well.

Half Time the IGA Mini League game matches junior players from our country zone (North East Football League) v our closest club (Woodville South U13).

Also representatives from all our junior clubs and school football programs have been invited to be our guests at the home match lunch.

Should be a fun day..

Last roll of the dice for the Eagles, a loss here would surely mean our faint hope of a finals berth would be snuffed out. Alleway will be a huge loss for the cocks. He's a player that generally has a big game against us. We should be fit and firing and have plenty in the tank after 2 weeks off. At home I'm predicting the Eagles just, around 17 points.

Cicolella factor (end of year retirement announcement today) might add some emotion to the occasion.
