Indigenous Rnd 19 - North v Glenelg @ Prospect (Sat 4/8)

Postby Big Phil » Mon Jul 30, 2012 4:01 pm

Big game for both clubs with the Roosters coming off a nice win and the Bays being done by the Doggies. These 2 sides have a nice rivalry against each other from over the years so this should be a good clash.

North plays well against the good teams and poorly against the cr@p teams.

Therefore Glenelg has it in the bag.

We've played well against and beaten West twice this year so that theory has a flaw. In general you are right though.

After weeks of hearing how bad Blee is according to North supporters i find it a little puzzling that he is selected in Port's side

His last game and a half have been better, but I am surprised that he has been chosen for Port.

He actually got second best from the club last week, but I did think that flattered him a bit.

He has played better since he has moved to the wing rather than play as a key defender.

I note that he is only an emergency for the Power, so he may still line up for the roosters.

I don't, happens all the time. Quite often the Power have picked players who aren't good enough for league football.

I assumed it must be an injury (or he's off canoeing or something) as he always plays well against North when I've seen him.

He had 7 goals kicked on him last week by Justin Hardy, but agree, he does seem to play well against the Roosters. Pretty sure I seen him named in the Bays' 2's.
