Can't understand why Parry wouldn't go on, only (29?) and still in his best form. Surely another two years at least in him.

McKenzie, Cica, Powell, Shirley, Parry and Jarrad are names I can think of who are in their late twenties? Of these, only Cica, Shirley and Powell will be in their 30s next year, but McKenzie may have found the travelling too tough and there seems to have been talk about Parry and Jarrad at the end of last year.
Parry and Jarrad should be high priorities, they are still playing their best football. Shirley would be important to retain next year if Powell, Cica and Macca retire.

Right now the elephant in the clubrooms at Oval Ave is Craig Parry.
One could argue that over the three years he's played at the club, he's been and still is our most important player. One that sets the tone with his commitment to compete and win. If we had a better mix of run and carry to go with the scrapping on the ground midfield types, Parry's work would be rated even higher.
Parry's contract or lack of one, must be the No.1 issue for now....... recuiting starts at Oval Ave Goddsy?

Surely the little ranga in the 2's, Angus Poole, will get his League debut at some stage?
Regularly named in the Reserves best players and had about 38 touches last week at Unley in the magoos...

They have waited this long to play Poole as they didn't want to throw him in the deep end earlier in the season; felt he might have been in over his head at League level
