What can we say about the Panthers on home soil? You could just about pencil in the Double Blues for a win in this one but they are sitting on the bottom of the ladder after giving up a 5 goal lead to the Eagles and losing yesterday. South must do something to address their mental demons on home soil otherwise Sturt will take the points here.
Broadcast Details - 1197am 5RPH from 2:00pm

Both of these sides have shown that they can play good footy. Sadly they just can't do it for a full game.
I'll tip Sturt to lead by 28 points at half time and then drop their bundle to lose by 28 points!

Tambling only emergency for Crows, they play Saturday so fair chance he will play for Sturt on Sunday

Phil Harper said on AA tonight that they will probably take Tambling (and Tom Lynch) with them to Geelong as travelling emergencies and that if Richard isn't called up late, he can fly back and play for Sturt the next day. Lynch may not front for anyone this week if he travels, otherwise he may stay in Adelaide and play for the Bays?

This will be a big test for the Panthers.
No AFL listed players available this week
Now is as good a time as any to play those who aspire to play at a hight level
By playing the bottom team (no disrespect to Sturt) it should give them some sort of confidence to play well.
Lose this match, The Panthers will be put back 5 years, lose it convincingly and who knows.

You need us to win by 100 points, and set back South 50 years.

That would be one quick recovery. I see that the crows listed him as one more week as of last Monday so perhaps the injury was not as bad as first thought. He and Ainger will make a big difference to the forward line.

Channel 7 have just mentioned during the Carlton v Richmond game that the reason some Blues players are wearing black armbands tonight is because the Father of former Carlton player Jo Anderson - current Double Blues player, of course - passed away. Very sad news for Jo and his family, condolonces to them. I'd suspect he will not play for Sturt tomorrow.
