South there own worst enemy at times. North player gathering the footy at the southern end on the boundary then handballing it 5 rows into the stands. Deliberate call there woulda made thing very interesting with a minute or so to go.

Yeah, Ivens dives at the ball and almost threw it out of bounds, we thought it was a definite deliberate too, you've got to wonder what the hell goes through umpires heads at time.

Even funnier listening to the geezer gallery carrying on in the stands both at the time of the incident but down right hillarous after the siren went !!

I thought wundke was very good considering limited opportunities .... Don't envy the bloke , south persist on banging the ball long sitting it on his head allowing north blokes to jump all over him . The few times they kick to space he rarely let's the team down

Only problem is they only look for him, he is a great kick at goals though.
For what I've heard he's on he'd want to score a few goals.
I thought the new bloke we had in the backlines, Dalwood in his 2nd game actually did quite well.

The 30 South supporters in the grandstand were livid.

Me
Does anyone else have a worse home record than South?
They never win there, North were certainties at Noarlunga.
South should play all games away from home in the future

westozfalcon mentioned in the preview thread that "For South, these are the games that so often turn out to be morale-crushers for fans". Pretty much sums it up. Mark this one down as yet another blown opportunity at home. Had our chances late in game but weren't good enough.

Yep saintal . We are just too predictable aren't we ?
This home losing record is a utter joke ! A total embarrassment and something the club must turn around or we will keep going no where.
Poor crowd. Not just south supporters but a poor turn out of north supporters too.
Looks like another year gone for us but really I'm not surprised.

Never get huge crowds to any North v. South game??? Crowd figure of 1871 was ok and about what we could expect considering the horid form North have been of late. North fans still easily doubled South's turnout so I think you should focus on why your team has no supporters at your home game and on your preferred day - Sunday. South have a good set up now at Noarlunga and easily best catering and BBQ in the SANFL pity they can't drum up supporters but I guess on field success would help.
North supporters are as fickle as anyone in the SANFL but in the main we "travel" well.

I agree , I could not care about crowds. We just need to win home games which we don't have the ability too!!
1871.... No way !! 1200 max .... South supporters usually sit in grandstand and under the shelter as you walk in. Opposition usually on the hill. I don't think it was 2 for 1 as I went up the hill and reckon a few hundred north supporters up there.
Anyway that is trivial ... We lost ... You won... Enjoy it

That's quite amusing from a North supporter.

Plenty of South fans in the Grandstand easily outnumbered North, opposition supporters always rave on about low South support at Noarlunga because the ground supporter bases are split between Southies dominating the Grandstand and Stratco shelter(i wish they'd knock that Stratco eye-sore down it distracts what great work the club has invested into the facility) while opposition dominate the North-Western hill.
This was always going to be tough to win without Ainger and Otten, was a good game to watch thought North's height was a winning factor.
