Very poor from North. Hopefully we "qualify" for the Foxtel cup as North are hopeless after the bye.

Great effort from Port, especially after the outs.

North have lost to the bottom side 3 weeks in a row.

Another from the 'where's Spelly?' files: what's the latest in the year that a side's been bottom, and made the finals? One game is all keeping Port out now, and they have no % worries at all.

I think I've worked out what the bottom 5 sides are doing. They're playing a 'take turns' game where each side rises to 5th, then has to lose until it gets to the bottom, then it's allowed to start winning again. They've been doing this so efficiently now that 5th place on the SANFL table can be re-named, 'one win off the bottom'.

Salopek was very good and such a smooth mover with a lot of class about him. Perhaps Ben Jacobs found it difficult to come back and fit into an unfamiliar team structure. Hopefully better next week.
As for the other moves, nothing beats pressure at the selection table.

Listening to Josh Francou post game, he left no doubt he wasn't overly happy with Blee.

The campaign to get him to the Magpies starts here.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'
