The Roosters are coming off the double bye and dropped out of the 5 last weekend, while the Maggies are sitting in unfamiliar territory at the foot of the ladder. Makes for an interesting clash on Sunday, out at Prospect.

Broadcast Details - 1197am 5RPH from 1:30pm

North dropped out of the five by one lousy point. If Grocke's shot after the siren had gone through for a point North would still be in the five.

here's a crazy thought- North could've beaten the bottom sides to stay in the 5...

Amazing, North haven't won a game for 5 weeks since they beat Norwood and we are only out of the top 5 by a single kick :o

Surely, i mean friggen surely, we can't loose to yet the bottom team again like we normally do :?

One way or another, we proberly will loose or we will come out and finally belt the bottom team for a change

We'd have to be the only team that has a better record against the top side than against the bottom side over the last two seasons. Shows our lack of depth.

You dont need any depth to beat* us.

Interesting to see who does and doesn't front up for the Magpies this week.

If we lose twice to the magpies this year we don't deserve 5th spot

Depth is a dimension taken through an object or body of material, so yes.

You would think with Shultz and Butcher out injured for the Power, Daniel Stewart will play for The Power. The Magpies could also expect Salopek and Banner back.

Your right! Port will pick up Stewart, he`s been ******* useless for North the last few games.

Where is he at North fans? ( D.Stewart? )

Is he simply devoid of any confidence or is he just not up to it? He's yet to rip an SANFL game apart and demand AFL selection, and fair to say, 2 goals and a dozen touches would get him picked at AFL level at the moment.

Where is he going with his footy?

As you suggest he seems devoid of confidence at the moment. He hasn't had a big day for North this year, unlike other years where he is torn apart SANFL games, such as the game late last year at Alberton where he tore Port apart in kicking 8 goals. He occasionally will take an incredibly strong pack mark, but there is no consistency. He is starting to remind me very much of Damon White, who promised the world, performed some wonderful deeds at SANFL level, but even these efforts gradually tapered off.

To put it into context, I think that Lewis Johnston is performing better than Stewart and yet Johnston hasn't looked like getting a game for the Crows this year and Johnston and Stewart are similar types of footballers.
