Round 13 - Port Magpies v Eagles @ Alberton (Sat 23/6)

Postby Big Phil » Mon Jun 18, 2012 12:00 pm

The Maggies just fell short against the Dogs last weekend but are playing some tough, hard footy at the moment while the Eagles kept their faint finals hopes alive with a great win against North Adelaide. Port will want more from their key forwards while the visitors will be hoping Adam Grocke returns to the side. This Western Suburbs clash will be an entertaining one and could go either way.

Was pretty confident about the North game last week, but not so this one.
Reckon Port will do us in, similar to the West game, just keeping us at arms-length all day.

:drinkers:

Had a few guys.

I think this is the game that will tell if the Eagles are a "Contender in 2012".

This game could "Make or Break" your SANFL Footy Tipping. "Eagles Backs are to the wall". Fight it out.

Only takes one slip up from here and the season is gone.

All reports to me, the Maggies played a ripper last week at Elizabeth.

I think the eagles are not good enough to contest the GrandFinal this year. :D
Smile :)

It's only Money $$$ :)

What is happening to our SANFL guys...

Looking forward to this one, first game I will have got to in about 4 weeks.

Will walk around there expecting a Magpies win. We were good for most of 3/4's last week by all accounts and I would like to think we gained some confidence from pushing Centrals at the Ponderosa.

The Eagles just starting to gain some momentum and any loss for them from here on in would mean good riddance to finals hopes, especially if they lose to a fellow bottom 4 side.

Home side in a close one. 13 pints.....oh, thats me, I mean 13 points. ;)
PAFC. Forever.

LOOK OUT, WE'RE COMING!

With the same side on the Park, if Port Adelaide bring the same effort as last week against the Dogs, I'll predict a good win.

Be nice to add Salopek into the mix though

Fair enough shows how much interest i take in the AFL!

I would have thought they may have wanted him to play another game in the SANFL and try and find some form before their next match.
