Round 13 - Glenelg v Central @ Gliderol Stadium (Sat 23/6)

The Bays will be desperate to bounce back from their thrashing at the hands of Norwood while the Doggies will be keen to improve their poor forward line efficiency. Glenelg may have a couple of youngster come back in from injury while Central have the likes of Jay Nash and Chad O'Sullivan pushing for selection after sustained performances in the Reserves. Also, both sides could have AFL selection play a part on their line-ups as well, in some way.

Can't believe how negative bays fans are. Dogs not travelling so smoothly, they are a real chance IMHO. Or is this just an attempt to make us feel overly confident?

Hi TSG Well Sturt beat us, North went close and Port were looking a real chance until the last 5 or 10 minutes so us doggy fans are entitled to be a little nervous. Having said that I think the dogs match up well against the Bays. If they bring their A game should win OK.

Having just read that the coach thinks Glenelg would learn a lot from last Sunday, Bays by a point.

well its only 2 goals worse than sundays loss
ps - we are deliberately losing to give norwood-centrals a false sense of security come september

Wont be as easy as some are suggesting, surely the Bays have to show something after last weeks debacle.
Interesting to see what happens with selection at Centrals. Is Jame Gowans fit to come back. Chad O'Sullivan, Jay Nash and Ben Nason playing well in the ressies.
Jackson O'Brien and Josh Vater would be the obvious choices out but my understanding is Roy is extremley happy with the defensive jobs O'Brien is doing (kept Summerton to 6 second half possesions) and imho Josh Vater was one of the Dogs best last week especially in the first half. A bloke like Dutschke could be under the pump.
