North have done well.

Then I saw Ports list of ins/outs. Definitely all above board there.

I think the important thing common amongst all these players is that they were useless players to begin with or were good once but no longer. The point is, changing club has not helped their cause. The player and respective AFL club should consider that the SANFL coach will play them in the league side if they DESERVE to be in the league side. Many of these players are reserves standard at best.

Spot on.
Instead of the AFL clubs bitching about their players not getting a league game they should worry more about their recruiters picking up these duds in the first place

Never knew Lobbe was at Port Magpies, why did he leave?

I think from memory it was a perceived lack of opportunity...

With Meiklejohn and I think Daniel Batson ahead of him, he left the Maggies to go to West, who would have only had Willits as a recognised ruckman.

You'd take him at Norwood, wouldn't you?

Err No
His ruckwork is ok but is useless around the ground

These switches generally occur as a last resort when a player is on the verge of being delisted anyway and he is hoping a chance of SANFL club can spark a revival.

Or they are a ruckman and there is much greener grass elsewhere.

At least Aiden Parker recovered to play 200 WAFL games and play for the Black Swans yesterday.

Did Jericho change to Norwood before or after being delisted from the Crows?

Think he was still with the Crows mate (Jim might be able to confirm) .. Don't think he was relocated as such, but actively recruited by NFC

Yes he was still with the Crows.
Believe he was unhappy at West and we chased him, for memory I think there were rumours that we had spoken to him a year earlier but nothing eventuated

Jericho played in a trial game for Norwood and enjoyed the environment so much at Norwood he wanted to come back. Who could blame anyone for wanting to leave West and go to Norwood ????
