Salopek playing ressies? AA just said he might be a late inclusion in the league

No, he was scratched off the Reserves team sheet so can only suspect he has gone up to the League side if one of Tom Logan or Cam Hitcock have been called up to the Power, perhaps?

Both have been called up to the Power.
Rumours are that Port demanded Salopek play league or he will be transferred to another club

Ty Allen out with rib injury, Logan and Hitchcock with the Power, Salopek to the senior side

Salopek into the league side to replace Ty Allen apparently. Big blow for Glenelg.
If Salopek was playing for the dogs in the reserved at his age and experience I wouldn't be too upset if the Power made him change clubs. I also think it would send the wrong message to the player. Anyone expecting to be good enough to play AFL should easily make an SANFL side and making that easy for them by throwing weight around doesn't teach them to earn their spot.

Excuse my lack of awareness regarding Norwood, but can anyone give me a reason as to why Michael Newton is playing twos? Has he been injured? or just merely out of form..
He isnt the only ex AFL recruit this year to be playing twos, reference to Callum Wilson from the Maggies.. Could it be a sign that the SANFL is as strong as we all say it is that players come here out of the AFL system and struggle to find there feet.. I know its probably a discussion for another thread but I just found it interesting that he was in the reserves..
On a different note, Go Eagles.. Id give a vital organ for 2 premiership points at the minute!
