Went down to Noarlunga today hoping to see an entertaining game of footy as a neutral and got just that and more. It's not that often you get to see 38 goals kicked in a game.
It will be interesting to see the free kick count though. Seemed like an excessive number were paid across the board.
Big game for South next week.

My understanding is ABC TV's statistics include free kicks from OOF which explains the discrepancy but CK can elaborate a lot more on that than I!

Anyone have any thoughts on where Brett Ebert is at the moment re a return to the Power? He works hard, but appears to be overlooked in favour of other small forward types.
Nick Liddle is a gun. Must be rating well with medal votes this year.

Good SANFL player but dont think he is good enough to play with the big boys although it must be frustrating to see some of the other duds at Port get a game before him.

Went down & watched today.
I reckon Wundke is the most productive full forward Ive seen at this level for a long time.
Kicks a few & has a hand in a fair few & exciting to watch.
Controls the forward line & brings team mates into the game.
Seen him 2 weeks n a row watched him cut up the bays & port.

It was a very entertaining game.

A great win by the boys today, in trying circumstances.
Down 2 players from early on the boys just persevered and came away with the points.
Liddle should be preparing his Magarey medal speech now, I reckon he has at least 10 votes already; this guy is a gun.
Cross and Stribling really got involved too and the key forwards, Ainger and Wundke were very prominent although missed a few easy ones ,particularly early. Port obviously came out with a plan to "distract" the Panthers early and it worked, South giving away a few silly frees resulting in goals. South were lucky to still be in touch at half time but came out after halftime and took control of the game with some good direct football.
The reports.. Redigolos' report was an absolute joke and will be thrown out. In my humble opinion, the lad from Port ...... well,...... he is in a bit of trouble, to put it politely.

injury toll starting to mount at Noarlunga, plenty of players on the sidelines but at 3-3 we are back in the hunt. 8)

ainger really impressed me today. as did wundke. veide last 1/4 was sensational , rebound after rebound. i would think south fans would be very happy with fullers input so far.

Highly entertaining and enjoyable game. Game could have gone either way for most of the day, so it was pleasing to see South kick away a bit in the final term.

A few familiar names have already been mentioned in this thread, but Liddle once again our best I thought. At the bottom of most packs and used the ball well when he had it. Leftlegger summed up Wundke very well. Extremely efficient so far in his return (as were South in general..21 goals from 42 F50 entries), and he hasn't missed a beat since missing the first 4 rounds. Something always seems to happen when he goes near the footy. Out-muscled the Port defenders on a number of occasions. Both backlines were pretty ordinary really and gifted the opposition numerous goals. South exposed for a lack of height back there.

Stribling had one of his better days out this season, and really got us going in the third term I thought. The ruck duels were entertaining, with Cocky having a good day around the ground for the Pies. Must admit I did enjoy him missing that goal in the final term after a questionable free, and the serve he got when he walked down the race.

Shame about the injuries. Didn't see McNamara go down, hopefully not a 12 month injury. Rolfe's been playing his best footy since he's been at South, so untimely from his point of view.

Cant finish without giving a mention to our good friends the umpires. Thought they were pretty good last friday night, but today was ridiculous. Talk about whistle happy, especially in the first half. How many soft and precious 25m penalties were paid?! If Redigolo gets weeks for getting in the way of a ducking Port bloke the sport is doomed

For the only game on today, and against Port, a crowd of 1697 is a bit of a shocker ...

Anyway, Port better get a hurry on or season 2012 will be goneski before they know it.

With every man and his dog at the races today, and the game live on tv, thought crowd was ok.

Must say, while they are hardly even a shadow of the once great club they were, I still get a bit of a buzz in beating the magpies / power / one club, or who ever they are (and whatever they represent).
