Regardless of how Central played, it must have been a massive improvement by the Eagles ...

Good to see Delta Goodrem here in the crowd, supporting her Brother Trent and hanging around afterwards with the fans, having photos and signing autographs.

Hard to convey in words just how much of an improvement that was from the last 4 matches. Hard to see us making the finals though after being 0-5.

Dogs looked tired at the end of each quarter and through the last. They did really well to hang on.
Great time for a decent break then come out firing against the bays.
I thought it was a great game of ANZAC day football and both clubs should be proud of their efforts.

First two and a half quarters were good, then we attacked poorly into our fifty. Westhoff was very good. Should get off the report. See that type of thing once every game and normally there's no report. Happened to him in the second quarter and he didn't even get a free.
Just glad to get the points. The back line was strong also.
Eagles will make the finals.

Probably the worst rendition of the national anthem I've ever heard. Not sure it was the singers fault though, think it was more a sound system issue. Anyway on the outer it sounded terrible.

As for the game, we were pretty average. Probably played 15 minutes of good football in the second quarter. In the second half our entry into the forward line was awful.

And didn't Jarrad have a huge whinge to them at 3 quarter time. He spent more time with them than he did in his own huddle.

Was about to post on the anthem. Sounded like 2am karaoke! The service was excellent otherwise.

I was expecting something for the kids, given the talking up PhilH gives the Eagles, was disappointed to find nothing.

Good game of footy though, dogs held on well to win. Great time for a rest.
