How would you rate each club's jumper in order of merit ?
For me :
1. Norwood
2. North
3. Eagles
4. South
5.West
6. Glenelg
7. Port
8. Centrals
9. Sturt

It is completely subjective, but I always thought that North vs Port at Adelaide Oval on a fine day was the greatest spectacle I have ever seen.
Thus I would go:
=1 North and Port
3 Central
4 South
5 Sturt
6 West
7 Glenelg
8 Norwood
9 Eagles

Just to prove after three posts that this is clearly not a topic that can be influenced by bias, I will say South's by a mile. Unchanged for over a hundred years

Yep, no bias doggies by two miles. Probably Souths Friday night jumper second and norwoods last (on merit of course).

Not sure about jumpers but I've always fancied Glenelg's guernsey ...

North - Bright and colourful
Central - also good combination
Eagles - colours that are bright and don't get near anyone else's, especially their gold jumper.
Sturt
Port
Glenelg
West
South
Norwood
The last 4 are very boring in colour and design, especially the last 2, and Norwood's claim to red and blue is ridiculous with their long sleeve which is ALL blue and drab at that.
Prefer any "clash" jumper that is predominantly white, as it is stark and stands out.
We are in a colourful world and we should exploit the TV aspect - use it - very annoyed with any team that wears white shorts away when their colours do not include white, but the oppostion does. What is the point?

So the Geelong style guernsey (and current clash guernsey) that you wore for 2-3 years in the 50s wasn't a change??

Norwood's guernsey looks like a proper football top, the Eagles looks like the result of a stomach upset.

Didn't they also win a flag in the 'Geelong' style as well.....

And in the early 1900's such as the one the great Dan Moriarty is wearing;

Actually looking at this, there are 6 clear jumper changes...

I love Norwoods, best by far IMHO.
South was second before they changed the font of the SAFC.
Glenelgs close to bottom now because of the sponsors name defacing it.
Sturts would go up the table if they used the blue of pre 90s.
1. Norwood
2. North
3. South
4. West
5. Central
6. Port
7. Glenelg
8. Eagles
9. Sturt

I like the current Eagles version relative to others.
It is a much simpler design than recent versions,
the gold stands out as different from other clubs
and we dont need to have a clash version.
And we won a premiership in it.

Norwood's 'will this do?' guernsey doesn't float my boat. Apart from my own club's (a mystery to me why it's last on so many lists, especially when the Eagles are around) Port's has always been impressive, though like all SANFL guernseys the advertising diminishes the stature somewhat

I wouldn't wear Norwood's guernsey crabbing ...
