Round 5 North v Eagles Post Game

Postby FlyingHigh » Sat Apr 21, 2012 6:37 pm

Suppose we have to have a thread about the game.

North 19.7 121
Eagles 5.12 42

For the Eagles, Rowntree was the only real contributor, whilst Jarrad and Raymond were okay in patches, and Greiger battled in the ruck. Debutant Ellis-Yeoman got a little bit of the ball, but didn't really show "signs" in doing it. Rest weren't worth a pinch of poop.

Sturt if you play us in the wet...

`as good as the cocks were, wtf is going on with the ex premiers? looked so slow, fumbled at every oportunity.sure it was wet but was not like the eagles of old. sinically i enjoyed cicca getting frustrated time after time, karma perhaps!! shirly is not the player he was before he left.

good to see johnnyyyyyyyy back to form with 5-0. thringy BOG for mine.although jimmy getting 40+ possies, didnt notice him as much. happy with the inclusion of clinch. dead eyed dick around goals. a touch slow though.rizza , another awesome game, really love how the guy plays his role, every week. glad young played for north today as he was a real assett aswell. thiele played an excellent first half aswell.great game by miles aswell bathing groke.

did groke outscore miles on the day?

one happy cock tinight!!!

Great, lovely Cock's today ! =p~

Beat the reigning premiers by 13 goals in the wet, imagine the margin if it was dry ?

Surely people will give us a bit of credit now and it should keep a few people of our backs for a while.

Seems most talk about how bad they played, but not how good North did

Let's just hope it's wet for next weeks night game against the legs \:D/

Well the real story out of today's game IS "How bad are the Eagles".

Only downside for North was the unfortunate knee injury to Jake Keller. Looks like a medial snap but let's hope it isn't as bad and he gets back earlier than a 12 month layoff.

My highlight was watching Lewis get rattled all day by Gallman and when Lewis tried to knock him over in the third quarter, he bounced off Gallman, ended on his arse with Gallman and the North supporters all laughing!
