If the Bloods don't make the finals this year, and I don't think they will, surely Collins has to go. This is his fifth season in charge, and not one finals appearance. Yes he took over a side that had won several wooden spoons in a row, but they don't seem to improve much.
As a paid up member, it is rubbish what they serve up most weeks. What is so frustrating is that when they do play attacking footy they look ok.

Agree Round 1 last year being a classic example of West can produce when they go in with an attacking mindset.

West have a squad who could play finals, when they want to attack they look good. The negative style doesnt work.
Their supporters deserve better than some of that crap they serve up, you only have to look at Friday nights game, the first half was a disgrace yet in the second half they played good football and with a bit of luck could have pinched it

Patrick Dangerfield is now helping out Collo each week, isn't he?

Early on it looked like Collins was really building something. Getting some key pieces together, teaching the young kids how to play and stopping the bleeding somewhat. Clarkson did the same thing early at Hawthorn, but unlike Collins he developed an attacking game plan to win premierships as his squad improved. West really have gone nowhere for a couple of years now, it's as if Collins is too scared to try to win the game he's just going to try not to lose. That mentality just doesn't win flags. Even the dourest sides who won flags knew when to attack and attack effectively. I'm almost willing to write West off and Collins' future at SANFL if he doesn't add some attacking elements to the game.

Helping out at Under 18 Training once a week and on gameday when playing commitments don't clash.

Total waste of 5 years when it was obvious after two the game style was crap.
The good West Adelaide sides always were very attacking and ran the ball.

After watching the WAFC getting the living suitcase smashed out of them, Andy Collins must expect that a result like that will bring him into the spotlight as being the Senior Coach he is totally responsible for it.
One would suggest that the WAFC entered the competition intending to win it, why a side would be picked with so few regular players is an interesting one.
There are likely three scenarios,
First off maybe a WAFC member might be in a position to comment, yet one would think that Collins has the final say on the selection of the league side?
If so then scenario A, is that Collins can not coach nor select sides and got thrashed accordingly,
B, Collins deliberately threw the match and disrespected the clubs colours accordingly.
C, Collins was ordered to pick that side by others in the Administration of the club who think he needs assistance to coach.
In either scenario its not a good look for the club, I recall many good clashes in the past between SANFL sides and VFL sides, Sturt vs Carlton and Port vs Essendon come to mind, where the players gave their all for the club and I would expect nothing less from the WAFC, to see this done to the WAFC jumper demands a response from the CEO, the sooner the better if West want to be taken seriously by the public in terms of getting people involved and wanting to come out and support them as a club. To deliberately throw a match smacks of contempt and demands a response IMO.

All I can say is the guys better come to play on Saturday, a complete waste of time participating in the Foxtel Cup.

What have we been saying for ages now, Roxtel Cup should be boycotted by 8 clubs. Port have no choice as AFL insists they compete, thats Fact!

You keep spouting that but offer no proof.

Fact :
A fact (derived from the Latin factum, see below) is something that has really occurred or is actually the case. The usual test for a statement of fact is verifiability, that is whether it can be proven to correspond to experience. Standard reference works are often used to check facts. Scientific facts are verified by repeatable experiments
Wanker :
Wanker is a pejorative term of English origin, common in Commonwealth and ex-Commonwealth countries, including Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. It initially referred to an onanist but has since become a general insult. It is synonymous with tosser.

The fact that you two do not want to admit it means your either in denial or you haven't bothered to dig deeper at your own bloody club FFS, I mean its quite clear to everyone else on Earth that the AFL is in on all the Big decisions now at Ports ( 2 clubs, 1 set of books

) so your in the Roxtel Cup for ever now that 6 SANFL clubs maybe 7 now thanks to Collins the Tool, have turned away from this JokeFest! Ask the people in the know, it aint that hard

You're (not your) the one making the assertion, therefore the onus is on you to prove it.
Ergo, where did your get your (not you're) information?
It isn't (not ain't) that hard

I'll ask Keith the next time I bump into him at Alberton.
