Roosters 0-2

Postby The Sleeping Giant » Thu Apr 12, 2012 11:56 am

I'm feeling my club has been ignored having started the season 0-2. Will the imploding ever stop at North.

I know every North fan swears black and blue he wasn't working out, but I still think they didn't give him long enough. Seems a little like Smyth and Goorjian coaching the boomers. Smyth went through the ringer for average results trying to do something different for the long term, Goorjian was supported to the nth degree for getting worse results going back to the "same old". I guess the question is will Francou be given the time Healy wasn't if North have another miserable season?

At the start of the season , if you were offered after round 3, to be equal with the Eagles & Centrals , you would have taken it.

Why is it that everytime a team is low on the ladder or in poor form everyone says they are 'imploding'. 99% of the time, 'imploding' turns out to be a massive overstatement. North are not imploding. They're just crap.

I know it is a disappointing start to the season. After being at the match on Saturday, players made a lot of errors and the ball was bombed into the forward line giving Glenelg easy options to move up forward and score goals easily. Also the endeavour needs to improve to have a chance against West this week.

Been with North since a young fellow and been to every grand final since 1971. (A bit too young in the 60's). I hope I'm still around for our next premiership. Never give up hoping!
