Depends on how much the Power shaft us to look after their little brother. No doubt they will take Renouf, Pfeiff and Flip this week.
Still think we will edge them in a close one

Port in a close one, only if Norwood lose a couple to the Power in which they should! ;)
Port 11 pts

hope Norwood do lose the players mentioned, and Daniel Stewart gets dropped. ;)

Phillips HAS to go to the Power, Pfiefer probably will but Renouf not just yet.
With or without the above players Norwood should have enough depth to cover those losses.
Good to see the traditional rivals in form and playing well.
Norwood in a typical tough fight that we always see.

I actually think Renouf will be the first called up.
Paddy Ryder 46 Hit Outs, Port 25 combined, Redden will get smashed against Mumford this week so they would be looking at Renouf and Lobbe but I beieve Lobbe still injured.

Maybe but Renouf might be just a bit under done at this stage.
Don't follow Port Pawpers much at all so don't really know how their rucks are doing. Can not watch Port play absolute crap to watch that shit.

You've missed 2 good games this year then.

Rally looking forward to this one on Sundee. I'd like to think the Magpies can get it done, but the Legs are looking bloody good.
Hoping for a tough, hard close game.

Losing to strut then kicking only 7 goals in a nothing comp hardly constitutes form....

Any game at any time regardless of where the teams sit on the table is always 50/50 between Norwood and Port.

Might have only kicked seven but they won by more than 2 goals. They played a young team to provide opportunities against a full strength Subiaco. This game should be good.

I hope that by not playing a full strength side you're not suggesting the pams aren't taking this reveered comp seriously (like Subiaco) :-?

Except at the parade last year

Actually I don't recall winning many at the parade over the years.
Aside from the great man Bienke's screamer on the siren, I can't recall another one.

Yes they always consider the magpies when doing selection, like last season when they dropped Daniel Stewart back to North to play against port. Stewart kicked 7 or 8. Or at the end of last season when they ruled out Burcher, Surjan and Ebert from playing in the finals if the Magpies had made it. Or even last week, when they took Banner as the travelling emergency so he couldnt play in the Foxtel Cup.

I'm glad you had some cases in point to help Jim with his *ahem* argument.

The PAFC are treating the Foxtel Cup exactly the same as last year. To win it but also take an opportunity to look at some 2nd tier prospects. Last year unearthed Hoskins, Robson and Grove. Pretty good outcome I'd say.

3/4s of the Magpie side from last weeks Subiaco game had previously played League anyway.
