Rnd 3 - North v Glenelg @ Prospect (Sat 7/4)

North coming off a loss that they'll want to atone for and the Bays coming off a confidence building win against West. Johnny Boras could be an inclusion for the Roosters after kicking a bag in the ressies and Bays fans will be still having nightmares after his effort against them at Prospect last year. I'm tipping the Roosters to bounce back and win by 2 or 3.

I agree. Either North or Glenelg depending on the game.

So basically you're ruling out a draw and that's it?

I also agree. It will be a game of two halves.

I concur, which ever teams perform best on the day will win.

North were well and truly all over South for 3/4's and went to sleep in the last, is it a fitness thing, time will tell.

Allan's 100th big incentive for the Roosters.

Boras should be back in the side which will allow Alleway to stay at CHF.

North have a couple of big units in the ruck that will be better for the run last week

With Rocket Rooster hatching Easter Eggs before the game, this will inspire the Chooks.

It's Easter time where chooks are at their best.

North by 47 points

Was that a 747 that went over locky's head?

Anyway, the chance of North winning by 47 points about roughly the same of me getting Megan Gale tonight.

Bays by 3 goals.

Bays by 4-5 goals, still not convinced North are any better than last year and looking at the Bays squad i reckon they are not as bad as everyone thinks

Not sure about North re improvement from last year? We have added some decent height but on Saturday the lack of response to Ainger's presence was a worry? That IMO, was a coaching error as Blee looked all at sea for most of the game at CHB considering the options re height.

Looked a little too tall and slow down back against South when the ball hit the ground, need a pacy small such as Kriston Thompson in the back pocket but whether he is considered remains to be seen? Assuming he isn't, my changes would be: Blee, Young and Handby as outs. as for in's Matty Wright (assuming he needs a run after having no serious game time for 3 weeks), if not Wright then possibly Luke Davey, Nick Amato or Brian Fenton as an in along with Boras and hopefully Miles.

Fwd line should be Boras FF, Johnstone out of a pocket and Alleway at CHF. Miles to CHB, Hall at FB and Stuart Hill in the back pocket. Rucks look fine with Craig and Currie both dominating but the rest of the midfield other than Allan need to get more of the ball considering the ruck advantage - South read our rucks well and more than won their share of centre clearences.

Almost a must win for North if they have any designs on playing finals otherwise it could be groundhog day again and it is only 2 games in!

Not necessarily, North are often the best side for 3/4 only to lose it in one

Where did I say final chances in tatters? I did say ALMOST a must win? Selective assumptions!

Didn't use the word "tatters", but might as well have.

So is it a must win or only "almost" a must win?
