So there have been 2 reports to come out of the weekend's Round 1 action...

Justin Cicolella and Chris Kane, both from the Eagles, have been reported...

There is a post on here somewhere suggesting Justin Hardy was reported. Is this not the case?

Yes, but in the reserves. The SANFL only releases the League list reports...

Hardy was reported for an open hand 'whack' to the face of a Glenelg opponent...

Yeah, pretty much as I think Hardy realised at the last minute when swinging the arm that if his fist is clenched when he makes contact, he could be in a bit of trouble so he opened the palm out and gave the Bays lad a love tap on the chops :lol:

On top of the disappointing result last Friday night, the Eagles also pay a heavy price with the suspension of Justin Cicolella and Chris Kane, both copping 1 match bans.

The death penalty can never be excused as it allows a state a means by which it can pick and choose who is fit to live and who isnt
