Sounds like South fell asleep after half time, didn't score a goal.
Good start to the season for Westies.

Unbelievable, I watched that game till half time
Just told the final score to the missus and the son who were also there for that time and they've rang up the loony bin to come pick me up.
I'm going to set up a paypal account where West supporters can give me money for not watching their games.

Did South forget it wasn't a trial game and swapped out the side at half time?
... Or it was a very smart ploy by West to shut up the ground announcer.

Just got in.
One of the most pitiful and pathetic performance by south that I have seen in a long time.
If they play like that again its going to be a bloody long year!!
Well done westies ... When the chips were down you guys never gave in.
Still shellshocked ATM !!!

Ben Casley - hamstring -
Jake Veide - groin -
Todd Pfeiffer - back -
Jacob Crate - hamstring - 4 wks
Xavier Gotch - osteitis pubis - 4 wks
but what a weak insipid inept display after half time.....after an encouraging first half.

I dont use injuries as an excuse as its a great time for other players to take a chance to step up and show they deserve a place in the side.
Wundke was a big loss but in reality it was not a full forwards night with the wet weather.
I have no idea WTF happened after half time but it was like they were not even interested to be out there!!

Just found out on WAFC forum that Ferguson's wife had a child hence the skippers omission.
I think Westies only had Ben Fisher & Kurt Thompson (With stress fractures) and P. Ellisiou out (He would have played 2's).

South fans clutching at straws if they count Todd Pfieffer as "league player" and not being available. If your counting on him to bolster your stocks then it will be a long year!
