With a lot of movement at the Bay a lot of people are tipping the Bays to slip all the way to the bottom of the ladder. Personally I think they're still a chance to play finals and some at the Bay are probably enjoying flying below the radar. Will youngsters and recruits step up to replace those who have left?
How long will Massie last if they do slip?

Wedgie, Joel Coombes went back home to Victoria. Think he was homesick for Norwood anyway !
The great unknown will be Glenelg this year ... could be top 3 ... could be stone motherless last. Sorry second last, forgot about Sturt.

I don't doubt for a second that the former seconds-level players coming through into Glenelg's league side are fine footballers and will adapt to league level.

Nor do I entertain the fantasy that all these players will make the transition to league level seamlessly and completely in the first (well, second) round.

Glenelg will categorically NOT finish top 3. Glenelg would be fortunate to finish in the top 5. Bottom place is not an unrealistic expectation.

Agreed, all things go well (never happens) we'll make the finals easily.

Realistically we will finish 6-7. Whilst I think we we lack the depth of Centrals, Eagles and Norwood I think our depth is as good as the likes of South, Port and North in the players ranked 20-30 on our list. They are the key players in terms of success as given each week you can have between 6-8 injuries or unavailibilities (for various reasons) it is those players who come in to make up your bottom six that make the difference between winning and losing.

I expect us to have another 5-6 talent search weekly winners.

I believe we have as much chance of finishing in the bottom two as we have as finsihing top 3.
