Had a weird season in 2011 with only 3 teams having better percentage. Beat the Eagles and Central but couldn't beat bottom side Sturt in 3 attempts.
Lost a ridiculous amount of games by 14 points or less.
Have a great on ball brigade and Currie from the Swans looks to be a great recruit in the ruck department to back up triple magarey medalist James Allan, Backwell, Bennett, etc
They currently have a few questions up forward to be answered with Gill departing in a huge blow to the Roosters.
Can Boras provide some consistencey at Full Forward, will Alloway stay fit?

Is Alloway destined to play down back this year? If so, think North need to identify another forward to play with "Here's Johnny".

I agree that Nick Gill going is a bad loss for North. Bloody hard to match up as his running ability as well as his height got him into many more contests. I think the coach would be hoping to instil more resolve into the club and turn those narrow losses into wins. In what is the hardest year ever to predict, playing finals not out of the question.

Is Pollock expected to play any league this season?

Pollock has done ok up fwd in the Ressies trials - kicked 6 yesterday so he could be an option up fwd?

Depending on availabilty of Stewart and assuming he is not available then if all are fit - Alleway at CHF, Boras at FF and Miles as FP in the "Gill" type 3rd tall role. Johnstone, Hall and Hill should play as the 3 tall defenders.

Injuries to the key PP will test our depth big time this year.
