Number 2 & 3 to fight out the number one spot.

Purely because when they play well their team wins.

I really wonder how a footballer can get 40 disposals and your team loses and still think they have played a good game. It may be a great DT game but it obviously has no hurt factor and the most important part of football is to win.

#3 is overrated. Plays most games loose in defence.

Duldig wtf?
Stribling?

I'd have Parry higher.

Always subjective but Kirkby 48! easily top 20 in the league.

Agree Dutchy. Kirkby is way too low. And Meiklejohn.

Better judges than anyone on this site i.e. the 200 club members have voted Allan best player in the comp 5 years in a row. Thatt is sufficient kudos. Blokes who have played the game at the highest level for 200 games think he is the best.

These lists are always good talking points - well done to the messenger crew - bet they had some fun working the list out!

Congratulations to the 10 WWTFC reps - 20% of top 50 not a bad effort from the premiers.

How is Matthew Duldig listed ahead of Zorzi and Ty Allen, shorly he's not in the best 100 players in the league let alone at number 40.

Top 3 is right, the order is open to debate.

Any list of 50 will be tough to put together and aside the top 3 I didn't read on too far.

Edit*

I assume it was going on 2011 performances or Jeremy Clayton would be in there, almost could/should be anyway.

Yeah but half of those judges spend the day at the footy on the cans, watching half the game whilst talking to their mates about days gone by - NTTAWWT. Very similar to most of the punters on here...

So you have seen the likes of Barrie Robran, Russell Ebert and your own demi-god Graham Cornes etc sinking cans at SANFL matches have you? What a stupid comment to try and justify the fact you don't agree that Allan is the best player in the comp!

I would have him at #1.

The judges must have been Roosters fans :D

Glenelg had less in the top 20.

Proves that the judges were in a state of of total sobriety ;)

WTF? He plays CHB, pretty hard to play loose at CHB. He's a gun. 4 or 5 B&F in a gun side is a great effort in anyone book.

Apologies for Ryan Willetts in at the end of the list - really? Why?

I have not ever seen him play even half a decent game that would warrant him to be even considered for inclusion mind you I only see West play 2 or 3 times live plus a handful on TV - maybe he plays blinders every other week?
