Andrew Mcleod

Heard today that Andrew Mcleod may be pulling on the boots for Norwood. As most will know, he played for the NT Thunder last season, and would still dominate at SANFL level.

When did he last play for Port? Wouldn't the fact he played for the Thunder last year cancel out a transfer from Port?

Someone asked that question at the AGM last night and the answer was $35,000 clearance fee.

Isn't the transfer fee that the AFC paid to Port (when McLeod was drafted in the 1990s) the one that counts? Thereby freeing him to play for any other club without a second fee being paid to Port?
