Great footballer and an even better bloke.

A real Bays man was involved with the club right up until his death. You used to see him every Tuesday at the club for lunch with his mates after a round of golf at Glenelg. In the dictionary next to the word club-man there is a picture of Colin Churchett.

Another Bay champion passes away in a month :(

Mr Churchett was the epitome of a champion. A true gentleman who played for his club, jumper, and loved his football through out his life. He will be greatly missed by not just Glenelg supporters, but SANFL fans as well.
